> Competed independently with 11 other team-mates who were from the same Modern Dance Club in Edgefield Secondary
> Crafted and choreographed an entire dance competition piece on our own
> Responsible for our own mixing of our music tracks, costumes and makeup, and competition registration

Throughout my many experiences as a dancer, I have had many opportunities to work and train with others around me as a team. These were meaningful experiences which I am extremely grateful for as they enabled me to grow and learn as an individual.

Represented New Revolving Age (NRA) to compete in the 2019 World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) Competition
> The team took on the challenge of training for an advanced level choreography
> Was a proud moment for many in NRA & many of our club-mates came down to support us

Represented New Revolving Age (NRA) to perform for Ngee Ann Polytechnic's annual Red Camp in 2019
> To provide polytechnic freshies with a better idea of NRA
> Received supportive and positive compliments from our club-mates
How I Overcame Challenges Faced:
The biggest challenge and obstacle I faced throughout my journey as a dancer struck me during my training and preparation period in 2019 for the World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) dance competition. It was unfortunate that I eventually suffered a knee muscle injury in both of my knees, which hindered my abilities to properly train for the competition. Despite this, I took the time to recuperate and strengthen my other leg muscles, and with the help of my team-mates, I managed to pull through just in time to compete in the competition.
