"A GALLERY OF BODIES": AN ONLINE VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITION

What I Did:

Curated an entire online arts exhibition with the main title of "A Gallery of Bodies" ; the theme in specifically revolves around female bodies

Sourced thoroughly for 3 main artists to be featured and 14 artworks and pieces which spoke strongly of the exhibition's theme and concept

Enhanced the contents of the exhibition by coming up with accompanying text paragraphs for each artwork/piece (based on my very own interpretation and feel from the respective artworks)

Created the virtual website using Wix.com and its tools, and incorporated features which would cohesively complement the online exhibition as a whole

How I Overcame Challenges Faced:

This online exhibition project intimidated me at first as it was something that I have not had any experience in before, and I also faced obstacles in terms of sourcing for an overall group of artworks that complement one another well. This therefore tested my skills and abilities to stay flexible in curating for the exhibition. I then took extra efforts to thoroughly source for coherent artworks, by using the first-found-few as the starters and guides to other potential artworks which could be used.
