> How to effectively and meaningfully put a message/idea across to the receiving end 

  • As a sales associate at The Blavk, it is a key to be able to promote for the sales of clothing apparels 

> Helping customers with their purchase choices

> Delivering accurate information for store discounts and promotions 

> Received many positive feedbacks on my efficient and pleasant customer services provided 

  • Helped The Blavk to attain its highest daily sales record of $1098.00 

  • Promoted for The Blavk in large and recognized departmental stores

  • Assisted in the proof-reading of the store's exchange policy 

CassiaLand (Part Time Sales Promoter) 

  • Roles and responsibilities included: the promotion of sales for membership packages, as well as overall store-keeping and engagements with parents and their children

> Communicated and engaged with parents while their children are playing in the play area 

> Through effective sales-pitching, I successfully promoted and encouraged for the sales of more than 30 membership packages 

  • Effectively solved any form of customer disputes through cooperative communication and working professionalism 

Kodecoon (Part Time Booth Assistant) 

  • Worked at Kodecoon's Pop-Up Booth held at the Singapore Expo 

> For a period of 3 days 

> Was held as part of an educational and learning fair for children and families 

  • Roles and responsibilities included: promoting for increased traffic to Kodecoon's coding classes and providing guidance for children to try out simple coding games as introduction trials 

> Interacted with and guided more than 20 children in playing basic coding games to potentially spark interest in them 

Borrelli Walsh Pte Ltd (Data Entry Office Worker) 

  • A one-day part time working experience in a corporate environment 

  • Worked with the data entry team of the company to complete the necessary allocated data entry tasks by a tight deadline 

> Referred to a variety of stacks of documents for all statistics and entered them accurately into the data systems 

  • Received positive praises from the other data-entry full time workers in the team on my efficiency and professionalism in delivering quality work  

The Style Mafia (Part Time Retail Sales Associate) 

  • Promoted for the sales of clothing apparels offered in the retail store 

> Attended to the needs and enquiries of patronizing customers (such as advising customers on their purchase choices and decisions) 

> Contributed to the store's sales and revenue by promoting for at least 7 sales per shift 

> Handled and managed customer conflicts and disputes 

How I Overcame Challenges Faced:

Having been largely involved in the retail and customer service industry, the most prominent challenges I faced revolved around difficult customer disputes or conflicts. My professionalism in terms of portraying positive working attitudes and initiating effective communications has therefore greatly helped me in this area, as I strongly believe that 'customers are prioritized and should be put first'. Being able to communicate well provided me with a better grasp of handling customer conflicts, which I also believe is an essential skill for the working world.
